Position Description

Stafford Early Autism Services (SEAS) is a small, clinic based, ABA provider in Stafford, VA that is looking for passionate and motivated occupational therapists and speech language pathologists to join our team in order to provide a collaborative treatment approach for clients.

Occupational Therapist Responsibilities and Duties Include:

· Evaluating and assessing client’s fine and gross motor development, self-help/adaptive skills, oral/feeding skills and sensory needs

· Creating individualized treatment plans and providing 1:1 therapy in a clinic-based setting

· Providing parent training and models teaching strategies

· Collaborating with entire treatment team, to include parents, BCBAs, RBTs, OTs, teachers, etc.

· Completing detailed and thorough session notes

· Completing all documentation required by insurances

· Evaluating patient progress and implementing changes to therapy programs as necessary

· Maintaining a professional relationship with all staff, clients, families and treatment team members

Qualifications and Skills

· Master’s degree in related field

· Occupational Therapist License in Virginia

· Maintain CEU’s as required by Licensing Board

· Must love working with children and families

· Must be a hands-on trainer and a team player

· Excellent communication and collaboration skills

· CPR/First Aid Certification

· Clean Background Check
